How to get the most out of this tool
Step 1
Enter an address using the search bar in the top right of the page or zoom into the map and click on a property.
Tip: for best results explore this map on a desktop.
Tip: turn on aerial imagery by selecting the base map button in the top right of the map and choosing ‘imagery’.
I want to explore the Conservation Zones Review
Step 2
View the ‘Proposed changes’ map and key to see if either a conservation zone is proposed, or a change is proposed.
Tip: Click on the ‘Accessibility’ button to see this map with higher contrast colours.
Step 3
Read the information to the right of the map to see the data that informed the Conservation Zones Review for the selected property. This includes:
Tip: If you are on mobile, the information is below the map.
Tip: The maps that informed the criteria and thresholds can be viewed from Step 7.
Tip: We’re seeking feedback on the Zoning methodology and maps that informed the review.
Step 4
Scroll down the page or select Check changes to see any proposed changes in land use.
Tip: Look at the key and links underneath the table.
Step 5
Select the button Compare zones if you wish to see maps that compare the current versus the proposed future zones.
Tip: go >>> BACK TO YOUR SAY to see Frequently Asked Questions and further supporting documentation.
Step 6
Select the button Split zones to see recommendations for any zones that currently have more than one zone on site.
Tip: this applies to only a small number of sites across the LGA.

Step 7
Select either the Biodiversity, Hazards, Geotech and Waterways buttons.
Tip: Click on the Layers button in the map to switch each layer on (Click here for detailed guide). Zoom in to view. This works for all layers except for Waterways.
