Layer Name - Title of the layer

Data source - Name of organization that provides the data and serves as the authoritative source (even for data compiled from multiple sources)

Coverage Area - Plain language description of the geographic are represented in the dataset (see also the layer’s metadata)

URL - Website containing supporting materials and/or metadata

Rest Service - An architectural style that facilitates data access and use via the web and is commonly used in geospatial software programs

Feature Type - Refers to the geometry or geospatial format of data (i.e., point, polygon, line, table, or raster)

Number of Features - Number of individual geographic entities (e.g., buildings, road segments) within the data layer

Number of Views - Total count of times users have viewed the layer

Publication Date - When the layer was originally published to HIFLD (aka provenance date)

Date Last Updated - When the layer was most recently updated by the provider and validated by HIFLD (may from the date listed on item overview page)
